Designers

Please take a moment to learn about Woodware’s clear stamp artist/designers. We like to call them our Creative Rockstars. Whether you’re talking about Francoise, Jane, Jacqueline, Helena or Gina - they all continually amaze and enthrall us with their skill and artistry in designing and using clear stamps.

Francoise Read: Being creative is an important part of my life and I feel very privileged to work every day on what many others choose to do as a hobby. I really enjoy sharing my ideas and artwork to inspire others through magazine articles, demonstrations, videos and classes. I hope you enjoy the designs I have created for Woodware Craft Collection.

Jane Gill: For me, stamping happened quite by accident. I went to a craft shop to buy some paint and the shop was having a stamping demonstration. I bought some of the products and tried them that evening. I took my work back to the store owner and she immediately asked me to begin teaching. That was more than 16 years ago! I enjoy all aspects of cardmaking. I hope I have given you some fun ideas to use in developing your own creative cards and layouts.

Jacqueline Ross: Since an early age I have been the creative type - knitting, drawing characters, making specialty cakes, toys and fancy dress costumes. Eventually, I found cardmaking and bought some rubber stamps and that started my adventures in designing stamp sets. I hope you find as much fun using them as I had creating them.

Helene Tate: Is the co-founder of Magenta Rubberstamps along with her sister Nathalie and husband Daniel. Helene enjoys working with color, texture, paper, batik, silkscreen, bookbinding and photography. Helene loves to draw new stamp images, develop new products and share ideas or techniques with others. She believes that stamping is also about friendship and that is the very best part of her business.

Gina Ricci: I'm happiest when sitting at my art board drawing. And I love designing images for Woodware. Although, it can certainly be a challenge thinking of designs for Christmas in late February when the beach calls and it's sunny and warm here in Florida. I sincerely hope you enjoy my designs and that they inspire your creativity. Check out my design company at www.meanderart.com.
